Our Brand Story
TKD Group was born from a simple idea: connecting the Kenyan diaspora to home, culture, and opportunity. It all began with Kenyan Diaspora Media (TKDM), our pioneering agency delivering news, storytelling, and cultural content that keeps the diaspora informed and connected. Through TKDM, brands discovered a direct line to an engaged diaspora audience via our website, social channels, and newsletters.
As we grew, we realized the diaspora’s needs went beyond media. Businesses wanted on-the-ground activations to establish a tangible presence and build trust. This led to the creation of SOKO Connect, helping brands engage physically with diaspora communities.


Clients also needed data-driven insights to navigate diaspora markets so we launched Ujuzi Global Analytics, providing market research that empowers strategic growth. To support global business mobility, Bridge Logistics and Travel was born, offering corporate travel solutions, diaspora sales activation tours, and organizing participation in conferences and trade missions worldwide. Recognizing the power of storytelling through visuals, we created Ubuni House, producing content that communicates a brand’s value and resonates with diaspora audiences.
Beyond business, we are committed to giving back. Initiatives like Swahili Lessons, Nyanya Busara, and the Kenya UK Football Tournament foster culture, community, and connection. Today, TKD Group serves as the parent company for all these ventures, continuing the journey that started with TKDM: building bridges between Kenya and the world.
